This carving is of an Inukshuk.
Inukshuks are structures of stones stacked usually in the form of a human, traditionally used by the Eskimo/Inuit people as a landmark or as a commemorative sign. It is omni-present in the Inuit tradition.
This sculpture stands 5-1/2” high and is approximately 5-1/2” wide and 1-1/2” deep across the base.
This item is in excellent condition. It comes from a shop that has closed due to retirement.
