Circa - pre-1923
This is a lovely little figurine of a small boy with a goose. He is seated on the ground with outstretched hand towards the goose.
He is dressed in little red shoes, red shorts and a white shirt with a blue trimmed short sleeves with a sailor collar. he is blond with blue eyes.
The open billed goose has spread wings, and beady black eyes, and it is a soft brown /grey with light orange bill and feet.
The figurine is 4" long x 2" high to the top of the boys forelock.
Back stamp is for pre 1923
Within an enclosed circle there is a crown over the capital letter M overlapping a capital letter O.
Beneath that is GERMANY
Meetzler & Ortloff were in business from 1877-1972.
This figurine is in excellent condition.
