Footed cup and saucer.
This cup and saucer would be a fine addition to any collectors set.
Hand decorated.
Lustreware.
The footed cup stands on 3 tiny gold feet. It measures approximately 2-2/4” high and is 4” in diameter. The Interior of the cup has a large pink rose and a couple of rosebuds with green and blue foliage. It has a slightly scalloped edge, rimmed with sponged gold around the upper rim, trimmed with gold , gold handle and feet. The exterior of the cup has roses and rose buds painted front and back, on a sponged gold background.
The saucer measures approximately 5-1/2”in diameter. It has a scalloped rim trimmed in gold. There is a wide sponged gold border overlaid with hand painted pink roses and rosebuds. Green foliage. White center.
This set is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or crazing.
The colours remain vibrant throughout.
