Nippon
Hand painted, footed bowl.
Antique-Red back stamp, hand painted M over a wreath, over Nippon. This stamp indicates this piece is circa 1911.
The bowl is white with a band painted 1/2 way down the middle in pinks, green, yellow and brown. There is a band above that with flowers , soft pinks, yellows blues and green.
On the upper edge of the bowl are two thin bands of gold sandwiching a soft yellow band.
On the bottom edge of the foot, there is a narrow band of gold.
The bowl is 5-1/2” in diameter x 3-1/4” high.
It is in pretty good condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. Very minimal wear to the gold edging.
